The Gladstone Women’s Health Centre exists in large part because of the generosity of organisations and businesses that support us in a myriad of ways.
We would like to thank Elevate Media who have designed, built, and sponsored this website. This website would not exist if it wasn’t for the women at Elevate Media who enthusiastically offered their time, skill, and financial support to Gladstone Women’s Health.
Orica Yarwun
We have been supported by Orica Yarwun for developing or facilitating our youth programs for 2 years now. Orica Yarwun sponsored youth events in 2013 & then sponsered the centre again with $5300 in 2014. Their sponsorship assisted in the development of our very successful and popular BRIKZ program (Building Resilience in Kids) which is an 8 week program completed in schools. Brikz has had many expressions of interest from schools in the region and even outside of our region. Thank you Orica Yarwun for investing in Gladstone’s youth, and believing in the work we do at the centre! We are very grateful!
Aurizon
We thank Aurizon for their generous $20,000 sponsorship to the centre to develop and facilitate our PPE (Prepare, Protect, Educate) Youth Program in 2013. Without such a generous sponsorship we would not have been able to create a program that builds foundations with our youth, which will assist them throughout their life. The programs are run at the centre or in schools within the Gladstone region. Aurizon’s sponsorship to our centre has made an impact in the community, and with the youth in the region and we are forever grateful! Thank you Aurizon!
QGC
Thank you to QGC for providing the Centre with a much needed equipment upgrade! With Funding from QGC we were able to purchase a brand new photocopier and phone system. This means that we can now print more – faster and cheaper – as well as perform functions that we had only heard about before, like scan to email. Most importantly, we have a new phone system that enables callers to leave messages on staff mailboxes. This is a new level of confidentiality and improved individual servicing that we are very, very pleased to be able to offer our clients.

HELP?
Recognising that women lead busy lives we appreciate any and all time women are willing to give to the centre. We are a friendly and dedicated group and encourage all women to contact us. Don’t feel like you need to have a specific skill, we would love to chat about your interests and how we can match them to our needs.
